NOVEMBER BRUNCH 2021

Having missed the last couple of brunch meetings, Sally and Mike decided it was time we got to the new venue to check it out. The new brunchery is now called “Daffies at the Halfway” which is at the side of the original Halfway Inn. They have done a good job of converting the building to a reasonably sized café with a good deal of motoring décor.

A nice touch was the use of an MGB windscreen and frame as the ‘Covid barrier screen on the counter, a talking point in its own right. They also had some framed motoring themed posters, which one or two guests were eyeing enviously. Luckily they were too big to sneak out with unseen.
