DECEMBER – CLUBNIGHT 

We had a very good clubnight in December.

This was a quiz night where the questions were based on facts that had been in the newsletter over the last two years. Patrick, Keith and Brian decided to play tactically and formed a team which were the overall winners. They then had to draw lots to decide who actually took home the bottle of whiskey, with Patrick Patterson being the outright winner. All this with mince pies providing the food for thought. The world record for the fastest time to eat three mince pies is 52.21 seconds. The world record was also set in 2006 for eating 46 mince pies in 10 minutes. It was close but not sure that we broke either of these, bearing in mind that there was also sandwiches, so we were all very well fed on the night
