August Picnic
Yet another really hot day, there was some doubt as to whether the sunny climes would last but they certainly did. We met in the car park at the Gowerton Harvester. It was good to see new member Kevin Donnelly with his XKR. The clock chimed 10:00 so it was time to hit the road to the Gower Heritage Centre. The route took us down the coast road and through Penclawdd, before heading over Cefn Bryn and looping back to the Heritage Centre in Parkmill. After a really good day out, we found our way back to Llanrhidian Holiday Park and were made extremely welcome by Steve Hadley and his wife Jackie, where more drinking and merryment took place. A great way to finish off the day.
